Africian Heritage Month - Burnley Allan "Rocky" Jones was an African-Nova Scotian and an internationally known political activist in the areas of human rights, race and poverty.  He brought the Black Panther Party to Canada.

There are grade 8 Badminton Tryouts today from 3-4:45pm.  

Grade 6 & 7 list is now out for those attending the second tryout which will be Friday.  Grade 6's at noon and grade 7's from 3-4:45pm. 

Congratulations to the boys' basketball team on a well played game.  Unfortunately, they lost to  MSMS 65-44.

Monday, Feb. 3rd

Grade 6 badminton tryouts are now Friday at noon.

Grade 7 badminton tryouts Friday from 3-5pm.

Grade 8 badminton tryouts next week.  There will be more information to follow.

The boys basketball team will be playing today at 3:30pm at Leslie Thomas Jr. High.  They will be dismissed at 2:40pm. 

Congratulations to the girls basketball team  who defeated Leslie Thomas Jr. High yesterday.  Way to go Vanier!!
