Black Excellence Spotlight for today:

Portia White was an acclaimed concert singer and performed concerts across Canada, the U.S. and Central and South America.  In 1967 at the opening of Confederation in Charlotteotwn, PEI, Portia made history by becoming the first African Nova Scotian to perform in front of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11.

Long jump, triple jump, javelin and shot put today after school until 4:15pm.
