Lift Every Voice and Sing is often referred to as the Black National Anthem in the U.S. The song is a hymn with lyrics by James Weldon Johnson and set to music by his brother, J. Rosamond Johnson for the 91st Anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln's birthday in 1900.  The song is a prayer of thansgiving for faithfulness and freedom.  It also represents the imagery of Freedom which celebrates victory and liberty.  This song has been adopted as The Black National Anthem.

Today is the international day against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia.  Be kind.... be a good human.  The world needs warmth and compassion.

Happy birthday to Cash and Chloe.

Have a great Wednesday!
